THE WORLD OF 9 GREAT QUEBEC WRITERS BY 9 COMIC BOOK ARTISTS

Works are presented in almost two meters high 3D letters that constitute the word Q-U-É-B-E-C, and are also used as stands for biographical texts, extracts, quotes, pictures and videos.

Quebec at the place of honor at the Brussels Book Fair opens the door to writers’ voices, that echo one another, beyond eras and genres. This reveals similarities, but also an unprecedented common thread: the one of the Quebec literature in all its diversity. This literature is even more given the place of honor thanks to the work of invited comic book artists -among the most talented in Quebec- who were all able to interpret in their own way great works under construction. Combining texts and illustrations, this exhibition that celebrates the culture of Quebec also offers an exclusive access to videos that present interviews, descriptions, readings and musical adaptations.
