Around noon, the Quartier des spectacles was gradually invaded by people with armfuls of cotton candy on sticks. The curious who wanted to find out where the candy was going found themselves in a cotton candy field in the Parterre des artistes, where they were welcome to “Cueillir un nuage” (pick a cloud). As the name indicates, everyone was invited to pick a cotton candy and read the small card attached. Each card contained little-known or incongruous information on the neighbourhood or Montreal in general.
